4 days left !!!

Not much left now !!!

This job is so special and odd. I don’t know what I would do if I did not have internet?!? That’s my only way of keeping contact whit my friends back home and the ones around the world. Yes we have a phone but for me facebook is very important :D

I was having so much fun yesterday, haha. For you who haven’t meet my farther!! He is quite a character ! If you read my comments on my status in fb, you will see :D

Today I have been doing my Saturday routines and work has been quite good today. Its getting warmer outside so its actuallt nice to be out. Even if its only 5degrees. But that’s better then -11 … brrr
I have also been preparing whit the jobs I want to be done during next yard stay 2010..

Our ship is going to be working for 2-3years more before they scrap this one. It’s to old, and right now the company is getting rid off 4boats that is similar whit this I work on now! My company is building new ships so its not a disaster but the times is not as good as they where before. They will get rid off some people..
As a Ship Electrician, it quite easy to find jobs :D
But this company is good due to that they pay better then most of the other!

Soon I will be in Maimi whit +30C :D I been looking and it doesn’t look like the best wheatear in Miami. If NOT!!
I stay a few days and then go to somewhere warmer like Texas or California.. :D

I have just been to the gym and it feels great, as always after a session!!

I’m going to have a look at some gyms in Miami and Santa Monica. Nice to keep up the good balance whit all the drinking that is going to be done !!


After my Holliday’s its time to work again… I will be working Christmas and New Year. But that’s doesn’t bothers me to much..
I get off my shift the 13 of Januari, and was planning to come home to Sweden then..

Going to be moving in to my apartment in Vasastaden :D But first I have to do some modifications :D I will get back it the 1 of feb..
So I guess I need to be on travelling shoes untill then..

We are going to do Heli Skii in Sweden over a long weekend. Thursday the 28th Jan to Sunday the 31st of Jan. Cant Wait !!
But before that, I am planning to go away for a week of snowboarding, maybe in the Alps.
I will go and have a look on internet right away…

Just booked a Hotell in Santa Monica, LA :D

Shangri-La Hotel in Santa Monica

Booked from the 12th to the 28th November

I have been in LA ones, rented a car and drove around for 3days, did not really have time to see anything..
What I did experienced ,was that I loved the aura of Santa Monica..
For me this was the obvious choice !!

Was thinking to stay in Hollywood but I did not like the atmosphere there.
This hotel is just at the beach, and just a few steps to Santa Monica pier.
Malibu is not far away and you can easily walk to Venice beach..

Perfect I say :D

Been looking at cars, haven’t found the one I want yet.. Need a car, was planning to drive around some and Six flags is a must !!
Six flags is the biggest amusement part in US!!
And have many scary rollercoaster’s there ! :D

Just to focus and “cease the moment” , as the old saying says :D

Today when I was working outside on deck I saw the sunset !
Why don’t I get out washing this beautiful thing of nature more often?
The sunset just caught me and I realized that I just froze where I was just walking now watching this!
Why have I been so upset?
Why do I let this people let me get upset?
I don’t know, I can be quite emotional and get frustrated when I come across something that is unfair and just Wrong..

When watching this I realized how beautiful life is and that I should just be happy and move on..

So what has been on my mind??

The last week, I been both really Happy and Very disappointed!
I am very happy to go to USA, and to meet all my old traveling friends and also something else that I am very Happy over :D
Lets keep that as a secret for now…

I been very upset whit my job,.. It has been quite frustrating and yesterday when I trained I punched the heavy bag for 45min minutes until my whole body was almost falling apart of exhaustion. Just to fuck me up even more I finished off whit two tabata exercises. One whit fast punches on the bag and the other one whit fast and deep squats.
Googel Tabat if you don’t know what it is !!

I started here on this ship in January 2009, she is an old ship with 25yeard on its neck. That is old in this industry..
This ship has been an Electrical nightmare !
Whit NO drawings, No logistics regarding drawings and all of these Important document just scattered around the ship. The guy that was here before me had been here for 15years !!!
He stopped working years ago. They terminated his contract and let this old Bosnian fellow retire.
This ship is the worst ship I have ever seen regarding all electrical installations, all maintenance programs that is supposed to be updated whit jobs and components.
Anyway..

I am not going to go in details what I am doing exactly. When I came I had many many suggestions to my reliever (work on the opposite shift) The 5weeks I am free. A polish guy that has been here for 5years. This guy has been so unfriendly and hostile towards me so I cant cooperate whit him.
I have kept quiet and just addressed the problems whit my closest here on the ship.

Anyway.. This guy made some fault complaints towards me during my holidays..
I got furious, I have been working hard to improve this ship whit NO help from this fucker.
I cant be quiet anymore !!!!
I wrote down everything that I have encounter as difficulties from my reliever and all the unsafe installations that I have found..
There is so much wrong and really dangerous installations that I have taken away from this ship !!

I wrote down three A4 pages to the office telling them about my situation and that I wanted to change ship as soon as possible.!!

I showed the letter to the Chief Engineer, the guy how is my boss on the ship. He gave me my fullest support..


It felt better to have done all this !! I have always said what is on my mind, but I really wanted this to work so I did not address this before. BUT when a fucker comes whit fault complaints about me.
I snap! I can be here working whit this guy anymore !!

When I was out on deck watching the sunset I felt everything just loosen up and I said to myself. Move on.. Lets focus on the good stuff.. Like Miami, LA and Vegas !!
And of course on my date in LA… ! Cant wait !!!
yes its going to be a "First Date in LA !!"

What is wrong whit vegas ?!?!?

I have been looking at several 5 star hotels now and most of them looks like shit !!
I don’t know if the American “style” is:

***if it looks OLD, then it must be exclusive !!
Fuck That !!

Don’t get me wrong. I can stay any ware. I backpacked Asia for 18months whit a 35liter backpack :D

But here in Vegas !!
Everybody talks about Vegas and has always been !!
(as I can recall)
So I am thinking: I want that exclusive feeling when I go there..
And then I cant even find a hotel I like !!!

Here is an resume over all the 5 star hotels in Vegas !

*Bellagio:
A lot of old furniture’s but better looking then most of the 5 star hotels in Vegas.
A friend said that much elderly people lives here L
Don’t like that !!

*Venetian:
Looks great whit its Venice canal boats but the rooms looks like shit ! Old style furniture..

*Palazzo:
Is also to the Venetian complex but all rooms: Old, ones again..

*Four seasons:
Crappy web page. To bad they also have Old inspired “style”

*Trump International:

Old style ones again...

*Encore and *Wynn:
Encore is more newly built then Wynn and until now.
My favorite !!
Wynn is there flagship but is also more of an old style…
Encore is not exactly how I would have built a hotel.

I am not a professional “designer” but I would have done something that was standing out from the other hotels and something more 2010 !!!

But in US the Hilton hotels I looked at, in Miami, La and Vegas.
They look like SHIT !!

We meet in Australia, “Sydney” Bondi Beach to be exact. This was in January 2008 and I stayed in Sydney for 2weeks before travelling north on the east coast!
So its going to be fun to se Jessica again after 2years !!

We meet at the same time in Sydney, just as Jessica. Tobin was travelling whit Tylor and we all hooked up for some excellent partying ! We started in Sydney but travelled up the north coast together. Surfing and drinking everyday :D

Frädu:

We where both travelling alone and decide to do some travelling together.
We meet in Thailand just before going to Laos. I think !!
Hmmm. My memories are not so good anymore. This was 2006 in March. So we were doing the same rout in Laos for 3weeks before we went down to full moon Party in Thailand. Haha One of the 7 full moon I experienced so far on Kho Pangang.
We meet 2months later and decided to go on a diving trip together, so we did! A 5 day liver board on the “Thai” Similands Islands where we got the pleasure to dive whit big ass manta rays.
After this we travelled thru Vietnam for 4weeks.. Amazing country..
Last time I saw Frädu was when he came to visit me while I was living in Chiang Mai “Thailand” This was in march 2007 due to that I had to take some time off my Muay Thai fighting to be in the production of Rambo IV.
So more then 2.5year ago we meet !!
Good fun to meet again.. !

My Hotell in: Miami, Bitch !!

I did not choose a 5 star hotel this time !
I will be travelling for 4 weeks in the States so I took this simple but stylish Hotel.
Its on "south" Miami Beach close to the beach and to the clubs !!
Perfect !!
This hotel is a member of design hotels !
Same as I lived in last time in Stockholm..

But Stockholms was mutch nicer :D

I usually stays at Hiltons, due to I am a gold member but the Hilton in the States is not so Good..
Hilton in Athens, that I stayed in 3weeks ago, was a 5 star hotel and very nice !

Miami Here I Come !!!

I have never been to Miami before.. So this is going to be a lot of fun going there now in November !
Are probably flying from Japan further on to LA and then Miami.
Should arrive sometimes around 13-15 November..

As usual there can be complications whit our crew change so I cant say for sure. I do get off the 11 th so it can even be earlier I arrive.
I am going to visit a friend I meet in Sydney 2 years ago..
Nice to keep in contact whit friends you meet traveling.

Of course I have checked there Skydiving options, and they are jumping everyday. So if I don’t drink to much Mojitos I am definitely going to Skydive !!!

After Miami I am planning to go to Austin “Texas”, Las Vegas “Nevada”, LA “Californian” and SF..
I will come back whit info about these places later :D
